CAN AN ORDER BE SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO OUR CUSTOMER?
Yes, we do provide drop shipping for an additional charge. You will be notified when the order ships via e-mail.
CAN BOTH THE NUMBERS AND STREET NAME OR THE OWNERS NAME BE PUT ON AN ADDRESS STONE?
Yes. Typically done on an 8 x 16" stone, the numbers are 3 1/4" high and the thickness 1 1/2". Smaller stone may be used, with a proportionate reduction in character height.
CAN THE NUMBERS BE INSCRIBED SO THAT THE STONE CAN BE PLACED IN THE WALL VERTICALLY?
Yes. There is no extra charge, but the numbers are usually smaller.
CAN THE STONE COLOR BE SPECIFIED?
Generally not. Because each stone is natural, the color, size and shape will vary from one to another creating a completely unique garden stone. Occasionally we have customers who specify a color they don't want, which we can usually accommodate but cannot guarantee.
CAN WE GET A STAIN COLOR OTHER THAN BLACK?
Yes. There is an upcharge for any color other than black and brown. Other colors on hand include red, green, light and dark blue and gold.
CAN WE GET ADDRESS MARKERS WITH BEVELED EDGES?
Yes, at an additional cost.
CAN WE GET STONES THINNER THAN 3 5/8"?
Yes. We can reduce the thickness to 1", but we do not recommend anything less than 2" because of the increased possibility of shipment breakage. Upcharges may apply.
CAN YOU SUPPLY KEYSTONES WITH OR WITHOUT INSCRIPTIONS?
Yes. For blank keystones, consider buying a quantity for stock. Sizes vary greatly. Contact us about inscriptions that would be acceptable on a keystone. Artwork upcharges may apply.
IF I LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE INDIANAPOLIS METRO AREA CAN YOU STILL HELP ME WITH MY BRICK AND STONE ENGRAVING NEEDS?
You bet! Even though we are located in Indianapolis, Indiana, we supply our personalized and engraved products to consumers, retailers and dealers throughout the United States.
OF WHAT MATERIAL ARE YOUR GARDEN STONES MADE?
All of our garden stones are hand crafted on 100 % natural stone including Pennsylvania flagstone, river rock, dolomitic stone and granite.
OUR ADDREES STONE HAS BECOME STAINED. WHAT CAN WE DO TO CLEAN IT AND WILL YOU REPLACE IT IF NECESSARY?
Stains that appear on address stones are usually alkali stains. It takes the form of a light golden to dark brown discoloration. This stain is caused by alkali-charged moisture which permeates the limestone from its back or bottom bed. These stains are more prevalent in address stones that are installed in mailboxes or pillars and are more susceptible to excessive water infiltration. Ordinarily, the best way to deal with alkali stain is to leave it alone after correcting the causative factors. If exposed to sun and rain, the natural process of weathering is most effective in its elimination. In some circumstances, we will supply a new stone, but will not be responsible for its installation or the removal of the original marker.
